M.Sc (Ag) AGRICULTURAL METEOROLOGY

Agro Climate Research Centre started new PG programme of M.Sc (Ag) Agricultural Meteorology from the academic year 2004 - 2005. Graduates of B.Sc (Ag), B.Sc (Hort.), B.Sc (For.), B.V.Sc., B.F.Sc. B.Tech (Ag.Eng.), B.Tech (Food. Proc. Eng.), B.Tech (Ag. Biotech.), B.Tech (Hort.) of a recognised institution/university by TNAU are eligible to apply for this courses. The following are objectives.

  • To provide manpower to the Agromet division of India Meteorological Department (IMD), TNAU, ICAR, SAU's, National service organisations and corporate sector for the benefit of research and extension activities.

  • To strengthen and foster the agricultural meteorological science through research activities relevant to the state and the country.
