Krishi Vigyan Kendra, a grass root level institutional project of the  ICAR-New Delhi, is located at National Pulses Research Centre, Vamban. National Pulses Research Centre is the Lead Centre for research on pulses under Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. It is located at  Latitude of  11º 30'N, Longitude 79º 26'E, with an altitude of 122m MSL.  This centre is situated 12km away from Pudukkottai to Pattukkottai main road. KVK at Vamban is functioning from 1.10.2000.
