Dr.S.Kanchana, Professor and Head has 25 years of professional experience in teaching, research and extension activities. Her research area of interest is on food product development, food processing technologies, value addition on foods and nutrition. She has undergone international training for a period of six months in McGill University, Canada. She served as a chairman for six  Ph.D. scholars and ten M.Sc. students.She has worked in the projects funded by MFPI, NMPB, NAIP, AICRP and DST and published the research finding in reputed journals and also released the technologies of millet Dhokla at National level. She has received Best Teacher Award at University level and Best Presenter Award in Workshops, Seminars and Conferences at National and International level. She has served as a member in the Academic Council of TNAU and member in the Academic council in the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, Guntur. She has also served as Member in Board of Studies, Library committee, Hostel Management Committee, Staff Advisor, Technical editors for MASU, Library Committee and Grievances Redressal Committee and Research Project Advisory Committee.
