FRUITS AND VEGETABLES PROCESSING UNIT

The Fruits and Vegetables processing unit houses various modern food processing equipments which are used to develop new innovative functional and nutraceutical value added products on fruits and vegetables. Research fellows use the facility for scaling up the existing technologies of fruits and vegetables and for research direction towards innovative functional and nutraceutical value added products from fruits and vegetables. Regular capacity building (training programmes) on value addition of fruits and vegetables are given to SHGs, farmers and entrepreneurs for income generation activity.
