Library

The library is located at Agricultural College & Research Institute, Madurai.  Common library for both the Agricultural College & Research Institute and Community Science College & Research Institute. The Library has a Deputy Librarian and a Library Assistant. It is equipped with Computers, Barcode printer, Barcode Scanner and Photo copier.The library is provided wih 30 computers with Wi-fi facility for browsing litrature. The library has 100 seats for library users and employs the latest technology in library sciences like barcode facilities and online catalogue systems. The books are stocked subject wise for easy access.  The library has 7000 collection of volumes on different subjects of  Home Science (including FSN, HDT, AFT, HEX, and FRM).

A total of 68450 books which include Agronomy, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Soil & Environmental Science Seed Science & Technology, Microbiology, Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Pathology,  Economics, Extension, Competitive Examination Books, General Books, Back volumes of Journals, Theses, CDs and Back volumes of Journals. In addition, a total of 318 books in the field of Food Science and Nutrition, Family Resource Management, Textile and clothing, Human Development, General Books, Home Science Extension are available in CSC & RI, Madurai.
