The vision of this Directorate is the management and utilization of natural resources viz., Soil, Water, Plant Nutrients and Microorganisms for sustainable Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry. Developing appropriate and cutting edge technologies for the efficient management of natural resources like soil, water, plant nutrients and microbes and to understand and promote positive impact of environment on these resources for sustainable agricultural production and improvement of soil health.
