Department of Agricultural Entomology successfully produced more than 40 post graduates. International Conference on Biocontrol and Sustainable Insect Pest Management (ICBS) was successfully conducted during January 2018.
The following facilities are available in the Department for teaching
- ICT Enabled classrooms for both theory and practical sessions
- LCD projectors and wireless presenters available in PG lecture hall
- Separate students working area in the laboratory
Equipment available in the department
- U-HPLC, AAS, UV – Vis Spectroscopy, Flame Photometer, Deep freezer (-21ºC), PCR, Gel apparatus and documentation system, Ice making machine, Refrigerated centrifuge, Nanodrop spectrophotometer
Trainings on Beekeeping are regularly conducted on 10th of every month
