PLANT TISSUE CULTURE LAB
Light, temperature and humidity controlled lab has been designed for specialized applications such as,
- Screening for salinity and drought tolerance
- Anther culture
- Micro propagation
An amount of Rs.20 lakhs had been sanctioned under National Horticultural Mission . Around 22 Instruments have been purchased and available for student’s research work.
MARKER ASSISTED SELECTION (MAS) LAB
It was established using funds from the Rockefeller Foundation during the year 2006 to augment the breeding programme. Advanced equipments like Thermal cycler, Ultracentrifuges and Gel documentation systems are available for students research work.
