Dr. P.S. Geetha, Professor and Head have 16 years of professional experience in teaching, research and extension activities. Her research area of interest is on food product development, processing of agricultural and horticultural products, nutraceuticals, food quality and therapeutic nutrition. She has conducted forty six numbers of skill development training programmes in different sectors and totally 1396 Differently Abled persons and small scale entrepreneurs were trained. She served as a project guide for fourteen UG students, chairman for eight PG students and mentor for one Post Doctoral Fellow. She has worked in the projects funded by UGC, DBT, MSJE, TNSCST and PMFME. She has received Best Presenter Award in Workshops, Seminars and Conferences at National and International level. She has served as year Coordinator, Differently Abled students Coordinator and Member in Board of Studies.
