4. Research Outcome
a) Findings approved for adoption during 2018 CSM from the Station results.
- Standardization of propagation techniques in acid lime through cuttings.
- Introduction of mango rootstock for problematic soil
b) Findings on On-Farm Testing:
- Chemical management of tomato early blight caused by Alternaria solani
- Development of management practices for ginger rhizome rot by bio
- Control agents and fungicides
c) Findings for Information
i) Acid lime
The neem formulation 10,000 PPM @ 25 ml /lit + spinosad (0.002 %) or Neem formulation 10,000 PPM @ 5 ml / lit followed by thiamethoxam (0.025%) was found to be significantly reduced leaf miner infestation in citrus
ii) Sapota
Two application of profenophos (0.075%) was found to be effective against chika moth + bud borer in sapota
iii) Guava
Beauveria basiana (IIHR) wettable formulation @ 1g/lit was found significantly reduced the tea mosquito bug imfestation in guava
