Tamil Nadu Agricultural University students bagged second and
third prizes in IFFCO-MC Hackathon
IFFCO-MC Crop Science is a joint venture between the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Mitsubishi Corporation.. A code-fest, the Hackathon program at national level is conducted for improving or building a new software program to address issues on the supply chain related to the agro-chemicals.
The students of TNAU have participated in the competition, got selected in the
first round among the thirteen teams on 07.08.2022 and invited to visit Pune for the field work to get a detailed credits on the specific problem along with Ideathon. After 10 days, they have been invited for a final presentation to present idea and prototype on 03.09.2022 The students of M.Sc (Ag) Bioinformatics – Team Alpha Arrays consist of team members, J.Infant Richard, S.Divya, S.Dilipraj, R.Anitha and K.K.Pavitra have bagged the second place and won a cash reward of Rs.50,000.
The students of the MBA- The Apple Bearers team consist of N.Sivavishnu, K.S.Vishwa, S.P.Dijendragowda and T.Vijay bagged the third prize and won the a cash award of Rs.30,000.
