Institute of Agriculture, Kumulur was established in AEC & RI Campus, Kumulur, Tiruchirappalli district during the year 2016.
The entire Diploma in Agriculture programmes offered in different Institutes of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has been shifted to Institute of Agriculture, AEC & RI Campus, Kumulur with English as the medium of instruction and students strength of 250 per year.
