Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dharmapuri was established on 21st December 2006 under the control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and is located at Papparapatty village Pennagaram (Tk) of Dharmapuri district. Water shortage, labour scarcity, lack of knowledge on INM and IPM and poor market avenue are the problems faced by the farmers in engaging agricultural profession. KVK intervened above issues, introduced of new varieties and technologies, upgraded farmers skill through hands on training and ultimately resulted in increasing the productivity and socio economic status of this region. Technical activities are being formulated based on the current problems and needs in the major crops / enterprises i this district.
