The department provides foundational courses on hydrology, irrigation, drainage, ground water and air pollution control, solid & hazardous waste management, environmental impact assessment and waste water engineering, for students across various UG degree programs as well offering specialized M.Tech and Ph.D. programs with a focus on advanced research and development in soil and water conservation. The department offers comprehensive programs designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in soil and water conservation engineering and by collaborations with local communities and stakeholders to promote conservation practices and address environmental challenges.
