About the Department
The Department of Fruit Science, a constituent unit of Horticultural College and Research Institute for Women, Tiruchirappalli was established during 2017. Ever since its establishment, this department is working on high density planting in guava and evaluation of genotypes of guava. This department is actively involved in the teaching, research and extension activities related to crop improvement and crop management in fruit crops.
