TNAU Inter Collegiate Sports Tournaments 2022 Zone C was held from 02.012.22 to 06.12.22 at AC &RI, Eachangkottai.
Nearly 900 students from five constituentColleges and five affiliated college participated in the events.
The tournament was inaugurated and presided by Dr A. Velayutham, Dean AC &RI, Eachangkottai and Mr, K. Saravana Kumar District Commissioner,Thanjavurby lighting theOlympic lamp, students march and sports oath taking.
The sports Viz., football, volleyball, kabbadi, throw ball, basketball, cricket, hockey, badminton, kho-kho and table tennis were arranged based on fixtures and seventeen track and field events were conducted.
District Sports Authority members were called as officials to conduct the programme. Mr David Danial, District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer, Thanjavur inaugurated the indoor games on 04.12.2022.
The track events were inaugurated by Dr R.TamizhVendan, Registrar, TNAU on 05.12.2022.
The valedictory function was presided by Dr V. BalaSubaramani, Controller of Examination, TNAU and G. RathinaKumar, Board member.
The rolling shield for ICT 2022 Zone C for the games and athletic events was bagged by Anbil Dharmalingam Agricultural College, Trichy following runner up by AC &RI, Vazhavachanur.
