Soil and Water Testing

A well equipped soil and water testing laboratory is established in 2007 at KVK,  Cuddalore. The soil and water samples of the farmers are analyzed in the  SWTL lab and also the Soil Health card is issued to the farmers. Soil and water testing lab established in 2007.

This  KVK immensely  not only  contributed  for the  field  to transfer of technology and  also  actively  involved  in testing  soil and water  samples of farmers from the  district. The  soil and  water samples  from  farmers  filed  are being   tested for the  major  nutrients status and  suitability for  different  crops. Based on the  analysis, soil health  cards are  issued  to the  farmers  with  fertilizer recommendation and schedule  of application.
