Administrative Building

The administrative building is established with a layout of 365 sq.m plinth area to accommodate staff room, training hall, Soil water testing laboratory, Library and trainees hostel. The centre is fully supported with ERNET connectivity for modern communication means like videoconferencing, kisan mobile advisory service etc. The centre has various demonstration units apart from above said facilities.

As one of the foremost and important mandatory activity the centre provides training (On-campus, Off-campus, Vocational training and training to extension functionaries) to the farmers, farm women, rural youth and officials of line departments on various technologies pertaining to crop and related enterprise. To conduct the above said trainings a separate training hall has been established to accommodate 60 participants. The hall is furnished with AV aids to support lectures in the form of powerpoint presentation and DVD enhanced with audio via LCD projection for easy understanding of technology and concept.
