Application of Zinc sulphate @ 25 kg/ha in addition to recommended N, P, K & S boosted the pulses yield by 18 per cent.
Pre emergence application of weedicide, Fluchloralin @ 1.5 litres/ha or Pendimethalin @ 2.0 litres / ha or post emergence application of pursuit @ 750 ml/ha is highly effective in managing the weeds in pulses.
Application of 2% DAP or pulse wonder @ 5 kg/ha as foliar spray at 30 and 45 days after sowing and combined inoculation of Rhizobium and Phosphobacteria @ 600 g/ha increased Blackgram and greengram grain yield by 17 to 20 per cent.
