Dr.R.Saravanakumar, Associate Professor, is the recipient of the Junior Scientist Award of the year 2005 given by NESA, New Delhi. He has more than 14 years of professional experience. He attended an International training programme at McGill University, Canada. He has also received external funded projects from funding agencies like Spices Board, Cochin, UGC, New Delhi as PI and MOFPI as Co-PI. He has also received recognition certificate for winning external funded projects. He is also member in seven National and International level scientific societies. He has also attended and presented papers in several National and International symposia and won second prize for Best presentation award at National level symposium. He has also published 14 research papers, 10 booklets, three books in Tamil for the benefits of the farmers and entrepreneurs.
