Dryland Agricultural Research Station is equipped to carry out state of the art research on soil and plant analysis. The facilities are constantly upgraded to keep up with modern scientific developments.

All the equipments are currently used for soil and plant analysis and studying physiological attributes influenced by climate change and this helps to develop drought mitigation technologies for dryland crops.

This Centre is established with the objective of conducting research on Post-harvest technology, Food Processing, Value addition and giving training to the farmers. All the essential equipments viz., Twin screw extruder, Pasta machine, dough sheeter, packaging machine, pulverizer, roaster, mechanical dehydrator,fruitpulper, refrigerator, planetary mixer, baking oven and accessories, hot air oven, kettle and mini boiler, tray drier, weighing balance, refractometer, hand sealing machine, crown corking machine are installed for organizing capacity building programme and hands on training to the various stakeholders and regular trainings are given
