Created awareness and supplied scion sticks of new grape hybrids / improved grapes varieties viz., Red Globe, Medika, Nana Saheb Purple, Krishna Seedless, Sharad Seedless, Fantasy Seedless, Crimson Seedless, A-18/3, Sonaka Seedless etc., suitable for commercial cultivation were distributed for in situ grafting in the grape growers’ fields. Field demonstrations and trainings were imparted to the grape farmers’ fields to overcome several field problems in grape vineyards.

Department of Agriculture, Govt. of Tamil Nadu	Empowering the famers through market link precision farming	Rs. 32.80 lakh	Distributed quality agro inputs viz., water soluble fertilizers for enhancing the yield and quality of banana and sugarcane in 51 ha and 49 ha respectively in Theni district. Implementation of this project resulted in the production of high quality produce by adopting precision farming practices and facilitating marketing of the produce for improving the rural livelihood option.

Spray of flusilazole 40% SC against powdery mildew was found to be effective. The combined product with copper oxy chloride and kasugamycin was found to be effective against anthracnose in grapes.
