Extension Activities

In collaboration with ATMA, Department of Agriculture, NGO, KVK organised various training programmes to the farming community and also conducted several trainings to rural women with the assistance of DST / UGC/ IAMP / and other external funding agency The Scientists from AC&RI, Madurai delivered the special lecture as resource persons.
Visit by the School and College students, farmers and Farm women are co-ordinated to explain about the various activities of Agricultural College and Research Institute
Scientists of AC&RI, Madurai delivered several All India Radio (AIR) Talk related to Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Entomology, Pathology and Social Sciences suitable to the Southern District for the benefit of the farming community.
AC&RI, Madurai act as one of the ODLcentres of TNAU and B. F. Tech programme, F. Tech ,Diploma in Agri-Inputs Certificate courses offered at this centre.
Through RAWE Programme students were actively involved in transfer of technology to the farming community and also learned from them their own practices and indigenous technologies etc.,
