I am thoroughly satisfied by the Entomology course we completed over four semesters. The teaching staffs demonstrated exceptional teaching skills and were incredibly effective. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the transition to online classes was remarkably successful. The use of diverse digital tools such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and regular assessments proved to be highly effective in enhancing our learning experience. The staffs adaptability and the strategic implementation of these tools ensured a seamless continuation of our education. The approachable staff readily addressed our questions, ensuring a thorough understanding. Additionally, the well-equipped infrastructure and abundance of specimens greatly enhanced our learning experience. The department as a whole provided a highly positive environment for academic growth.

Entomology in TNAU has always been my favourite department since second year of my UG.This liking towards entomology has led to the turning point of my career as I am doing my masters in entomology.The professors in the department never ever fail to lead the students to the world of fascinating insects. The department has a very sound collection of insects which makes the identification of insects easier for students. During my UG I have been exposed to almost all the major and minor pests in horticulture crops and Field crops. The excellent infrastructure and amiable discipline in the department has helped me to secure a good rank in ICAR PG 2022 .The practicals and field classes have helped me a lot to get acquainted with the insects.
