CONSULTANCY SERVICES

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has a well established research systems and as a result many hybrids, technologies viz., soil, water and crop management and pest and disease, machineries and agricultural inputs have been developed. These hybrids, technologies and machines have been demonstrated by our scientists and are being adopted by the farmers and other stakeholders. Scientists need to have business orientation, in order to develop innovative products which will meet the market requirement. As a support service for technology development and adoption in agriculture, ABD-TNAU identifies farm innovations and helps the innovators in development and standardization of products, field testing and commercialization and capacity building with regard to technologies and managerial aspects for establishing agribusiness. It also provides technical consultancy for prototype development, business consultancy for detailed project proposal preparation and market research, etc.

  1. A consultancy project is one where faculty members of TNAU provide knowledge and intellectual inputs (within India and abroad), primarily for their purposes and or
  2. Professional services in terms of scientific, technical, engineering or other agricultural related aspects based on expert on knowledge and skill to industry or other organizations (within India and abroad), primarily for the purposes of the clients.
