Myself SANGEETHA S V, pursuing I Ph.D. Entomology at TNAU AC and RI, Coimbatore. First and foremostly, I am proud to be studying in the prestigious Tamil Nadu Agricultural University under the Department of Agricultural Entomology. I gained the knowledge on DST – INSPIRE Fellowship from my seniors, it motivated me to work towards achieving the fellowship. The most important component for availing the fellowship is the research proposal, in that way, I approached our Professor and Head, Dr M. MURUGAN. His guidance and support for selecting the research title and proposal preparation helped me to grab the INSPIRE fellowship. For doctoral research, financial assistance plays an important role. Thus, I feel very happy to awarded with DST – INSPIRE Fellowship 2024 and I extend my heartful thanks to Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and my gratitude to who all helped me to made this achievement possible.
