Short Bio

Joined Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor of Plant Physiology in 1999, after serving ICAR for one year as Scientist ARS in Plant Physiology. Graduated from Kerala Agricultural University and had M Sc. Agriculture in Crop Physiology from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore and Ph D from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.  He has 15 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and post graduate students and guided 6 M Sc and 2 PhD students.  Major research areas include stress physiology, pollen biology, selective fertilization, and thermosensitive genic male sterility in rice. Mobilized funds from various national and international agencies and has 14 research publications.
