Short Bio
BSc (Ag) and M Sc (Ag) from Kerala Agricultural University and PhD Agril. Extension from IARI New Delhi. Started career as Agriculture Officer with the State Department of Agriculture and later served as ARS Scientist at IIHR (ICAR), Bangalore. Worked as Professor & Head of Communication Centre & Centre for Gender Studies and Farm entrepreneurship Development. Held charge of Associate Director of Extension (CZ). Served as PI of research projects funded by Ministry of Agriculture, GOI, NATP (CGP), ICAR, Kerala State Horticulture Mission, RKVY , FACT, DRWA (ICAR) and Government of Kerala. Serves as the Project Coordinator of Agricultural Extension and Development Studies research group in KAU. Has 120 publications (book chapters, research papers in journals, and proceedings of seminar/workshops and many bulletins in the field of participatory extension, PPP interventions, and gender studies).
