Workshop on LC-MS Based Metabolomic approaches to identify signature bioactive compounds from natural sources for commercial applications

Title of the Workshop

LC-MS Based Metabolomic approaches to identify signature bioactive compounds from natural sources for commercial applications

About the Workshop

The work shop on the LC-MS/MS will aid the trainees to gain knowledge about the basic principles of LC-MS, major components of MS, hard wares, soft ware components in LC-MS, different types of the ionization detectors, sample preparation, sample injection, positive and negative ionization modes, single quadrupole and triple quadrupole detectors. The trainees will also be trained in method development and data analysis for unknown samples. In addition to this, training will be imparted on the maintenance of the instrument and solutions to troubleshooting related to the column and detector.

The workshop on the LC-MS/MS is scheduled between 28.01.2023 and 29.01.2023 which comprises of the four lecture schedules on LC-MS basic principles, instrumentation and application, LC-MS/MS data interpretation and four hands on sessions on instrumentation of LC-MS, qualitative software, quantification basic, sensitivity and linearity, targeted MS and data processing, method development for unknown samples and maintenance of the LC-MS/MS instrument.
