Governance and Reporting

The Head of a Research Institute (Dean) / Directorate (Director or Special Officer) / Research Station (Professor and Head) reports to the Director of Research, who is responsible for overseeing its governance and budgetary accounts. The responsible Dean / Director / Special Officer / Professor and Head, acting in consultation as appropriate with other university administrators, shall review each Research Institute / Directorate / Station’s activities periodically including its financial management and compliance with university policies, and shall report the results of that review to the Office of the Director of Research.

The activities of Research Institutes, Directorates, and Stations of TNAU shall be reviewed directly by the Director of Research and the outcome of the review process will be reported to the Research Council of the University.
