  • UsilaiMedBase, a database on medicinal plants in Usilampatti has been created
  • Barnyard millet genotype with high iron and zinc contents are identified
  • Improved lines viz., IL5, IL15, IL29, IL36 harbouring BB (Xa21, xa13, xa5), Blast (Pi54), Sheath blight (qSBR11-1, qSBR 11-2, qSBR 7-1) and Bph1 & 2 resistance genes/QTLs have been identified through MAS.
