Student Experiences

My name is V.Iniya. I am currently pursuing I M.Sc in this department. I am very proud to say that I had chosen this department after my completion of Under Graduate programme when I had no idea of which discipline to choose after UG. At first I was very nervous to enter the department. But it became like a family to me after some months since the faculty of the department are very student friendly and the students of the department are very helpful. The facilities of the department are the need of the hour for any extension functionary, especially the DEIL Lab facility.

This is Riyas Babu from the Dept. of AE&RS, TNAU, Coimbatore. Due to the compulsion of my family only I planned to join PG. That too during the UG days, students used to say that extension is abstract . But when I came to experience the real time aspect, it is entirely different. It checks our own personality and teaches much to us, that too with the recent BSMA syllabus, it is very useful to know many aspects in extension education. The entrepreneurial skills taught during the course might help me to become a future entrepreneur.
