Student Club

           Muthamizh Vizha is a vibrant cultural event organized by the Students Club at CSC&RI and AC&RI, Madurai to celebrate Tamil culture, language, and traditions. It features traditional dance, music, drama, and literary competitions focused on Tamil literature and poetry. The event also includes cultural exhibitions showcasing Tamil arts and crafts. Muthamizh Vizha fosters a sense of community by bringing together students and faculty to honor their shared Tamil heritage. It provides students a platform to showcase their talents and deepen their appreciation for Tamil culture.

           TALENTIA is a prestigious state-level inter-collegiate cultural competition held annually by AC&RI, Madurai and CSC & RI, Madurai, renowned for its legacy and grandeur. Over two days, this event provides a vibrant platform for students to showcase their extraordinary talents, fostering brotherhood and promoting cross-cultural learning. With over 700 students from approximately 40 colleges, TALENTIA features 19 off-stage events, including fine arts, quiz, and literary competitions, alongside 9 on-stage events with dance, music, and performances. This iconic event celebrates creativity and unity, encouraging collaboration while highlighting the exceptional talents of young students.

      The intra-collegiate cultural fest Thullal, held with great excitement and grandeur under the tagline “Ithu Saathanaigalin Sangamam” aimed to bring together B.Sc. (Ag.) and B.Sc. (FND) students through a series of engaging activities and competitions. The event was organized in two phases—Off-stage and On-stage—featuring 26 off-stage activities such as literary and arts competitions, offering a platform for students to showcase their creativity and skills. Over the course of the month, the event promoted both healthy competition and teamwork, successfully uniting students from different years. Thullal became a true celebration of creativity, unity, and collaboration.

       Sports Day is an exciting celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and spirit. The campus buzzes with energy as students compete in various track and field events, showcasing their strength and determination. It’s a day filled with fierce competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. College Sports Day unites everyone, promoting fitness, fun, and a sense of pride!

           Hostel Day at CSC&RI and AC&RI, Madurai is a fun-filled celebration of hostel life, where students unite for exciting cultural performances, games, and competitions. It’s a day of laughter, bonding, and unforgettable memories, creating a strong sense of community. The event fosters friendships and celebrates the unique spirit of hostel living. Hostel Day is truly the highlight of student life on campus!

            College Day mark the end of the academic year with vibrant celebrations. College Day honors academic achievements and features cultural performances, bringing together students and faculty in pride and unity. Club Day celebrates the accomplishments of various student societies, showcasing their activities and achievements through performances.

             The Lighting Ceremony for final-year students at CSC&RI, Madurai is a shining moment of pride and reflection. As the lamp is lit, it symbolizes the bright future and knowledge gained through years of hard work. It’s a heartfelt celebration of accomplishments and new beginnings.
