What are all the specialities of TNAU?
- Curriculum is quite so good and farm practical class starts from 7.30 to 10.00 a.m. i.e., before the sun becomes so hot.
- Some students go for start ups, people with innovative ideas are helped by the university with start up fund according to their ideas.
- Hostels with furnished rooms (3 student's /room), good rest room and water facilities, verandah, spacious TV room and good mess. Inmates are supplied with ‘The Hindu’ newspaper daily.
- Students can ride bicycle because the university is so big
Whether all the TNAU Constituent colleges are as good as Coimbatore, regarding B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture?
Yes, because
- Same syllabus adopted for all the campuses
- Same level of teaching, as the same teaching staff will be shuttled among TNAU colleges
- Adequate practical exposure since all the campuses have good acre of lands with them
- All the campus have a good library with on-par and vast collection of books
What should I do to get admission in TNAU?
If you are native of Tamil Nadu, then you have to apply for the counselling in the official website of TNAU, for which the link will be activated after the board exam results.
If you are from other states, then you have to write an entrance examination conducted by ICAR, and for that entrance you have to apply through ICAR website.
Are outings allowed in TNAU?
In all the campus of TNAU, the outings are allowed.
If you are going as a group a letter has to be submitted, otherwise you need to return before 6 pm.
If you are going to your hometown you need to get permission from the warden.
Is uniform compulsory in TNAU?
Yes, it is compulsory. You have to wear uniform for practicals.
