The Centre for Students Welfare in TNAU, Coimbatore was instituted in the year 1994 as Directorate of Students Welfare. Later, Centre for Students Welfare emerged in full swing in the year 2018 after seventh Dean’s committee recommendation.
CSW is the nodal centre for Students’ career guidance, counselling and placement activities, development of students’ talents through various club activities, NSS, NCC, physical education for all the constituent colleges of the University. The CSW takes care of students boarding and lodging and also health care of students in the main campus.
The centre facilitates graduates and students to get employment opportunities. The vision of this centre is to build confidence and competence among agricultural graduates to enable them to compete globally and promote job opportunities at national and international fora. The centre also holds a major role in Alumni Association in bringing together the alumni spread across the globe.
