Play ground facilities with 400 m track, basketball, volleyball, ball badminton, handball and shuttle court, kho-kho ground are available for the students to excel in sports and maintain their physique. The fitness centre with multi-gym and other gym equipments in the hostel helps in ensuring good health of the students. The institute creates the healthy atmosphere by providing required sports facilities and yoga training. Playground with track and field, two shuttle courts, one basketball court, two volley ball court, one Kho-Kho, one ball badminton, which are commonly shared by HC&RI (W) and ADAC&RI. The institute consists of students’ cafeteria with carpet area 65m2. This refreshes the students and injects new energy for continuous learning.

Sports achievements

  • TNAU Inter Collegiate Tournament 2013-2014 was held at HC&RI(W), Tiruchirapalli from 22.02.2014 to 28.02.2014
  • One week special coaching camp was conducted for the event Kho-Kho by inviting special coach from outside during December 2015
  • Ms. S. Rajeswari, II B.Sc. (Hort.) won the Bronze medal in High jump in the TNAU Inter collegiate tournament 2014-2015  held at AC&RI, Madurai from 16.02.2015 to 22.02.2015
  • The college Kho-Kho team emerged as winners in the RVS Invitational Kho-Kho tournament held at Thanjavur on 10.09.2016 and11.09.2016
  • Ms. S. Midhula, III B.Sc. (Hort.) was selected for TNAU Kho-Kho team and participated in 16th All India Inter Agricultural Universities Sports and Games Meet 2015-16 during 22.02.2016 to 26.02.2016 and bagged the Runner-up
  • Ms. S. Keerthana IV B.Sc. (Hort.) was awarded best performance award in the 25th Silver jubilee tournament organized at FC&RI, Mettupalayam on 3.03.216
  • Ms. S. Rajeswari of IV B.Sc. (Hort.) bagged individual championship for three consecutive years from 2015 to 2017 and awarded with special memento for her brilliant achievement
  • Ms. V. Sharmila III B.Sc. (Hort.) and Ms. S. Reme, II B.Sc. (Hort.) were adjudged as winner in Badminton in the 1st Inter-University sports fest at Tamil Nadu National Law School Trichy on 23.04.2017 and 24.04.2017.
